中国政法大学（中国政法大学；中文：中国政法大学；拼音：中国政法大学）是一所在北京中国人民共和国的。
其法学院被认为是中国最好的一个。
在2009和2012，最近的两个年度，中国政法大学被教育部评为在中国法学院第二好毕业的学校。
中国政法大学有两个校区，一个在海淀，这是大学最初的校园，和其他位于常平，北京。海淀校区举办研究生，而在昌平区的一个更大的校园学习的大学生，在北京郊区。
它是世界上最大的法律教育研究所。
历史
1952年，中国进行高等院校院系调整，在北京大学、燕京大学、辅仁大学、清华大学的法学、政治学、社会学等学科基础上，合并成立了“北京政法学院”，办学地址为当时的北大红楼，哈佛大学毕业的钱端升担任首任院长，故1952年也被公认为该校的诞生时间。 但在中国政法大学文化革命爆发后受到了很大影响。中国政法大学已经在文化大革命期间停止。
钱端升在1990年病逝。
1983年，中共中央指示“要抓紧筹办中国政法大学，把它建成中国政法教育中心”，北京政法学院与中央政法干校合并，组建为中国政法大学。
在1985，常平校园是国家的第七个五年计划的一部分。
在“珍惜道德，了解法律，了解世界，服务大众”名言下，中国政法大学在中国的法律教育和培训的发展做出了贡献。
它是第一所建立法律史的专业的大学，例中国人民共和国的民商法，经济法，在中国诉讼法和比较法。
它也促进罗马法律在中国的教育和推进。

根据 2012 QS 世界大学排名，中国政法大学的法学排名在100-150之间。

China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL; Chinese: 中国政法大学; pinyin: Zhóngguó Zhèngfǎ Dàxué) is a university in Beijing, People's Republic of China. 
Its law school is considered one of the best in China. 
In 2009 and 2012, the two most recent report year, The Ministry of Education rated CUPL as having the second best graduate education among the law schools in China. 
CUPL has two campuses, one in Haidian, which is the original campus of the university, and the other located in Changping, Beijing. The university's Haidian campus now hosts postgraduate students only, while undergraduates study at a much larger campus in Changping District, in the outer suburbs of Beijing. 
It is the largest institute in the world for legal education.
History
CUPL was initially established in 1952, with its official name Peking College of Political Science and Law and combined departments of law, political science, sociology and other subjects of Peking University, Yenching University, Fu Jen Catholic University and Tsinghua University. The prestigious scholar Ch'ien Tuan-Sheng (钱端升), who was educated at Harvard University and regarded as the founder of modern political science in China, was appointed as the first president.
But after the outbreak of Cultural Revolution CUPL was greatly affected.
CUPL had been stopped during Cultural Revolution. 
Ch'ien Tuan-Sheng died of illness in 1990.
In 1983, under the policy of Central People's Government to develop the college quickly and make it the center of politics and law education in China, BCPSL was renamed as the China University of Political Science and Law. 
The Changping campus was a part of the State's Seventh Five-Year-Plan in 1985.
Under the motto of "Cherish the Moral, Understand the Law, Know the World, Serve the Public"; CUPL made its contribution to the development of legal education and training in China.
It was the first university to establish specialties such as Legal History, Civil and Commercial Law, Economic Law, Procedure Law and Comparative Law in the PRC.
It also contributed to the education and promotion of Roman law in China.
With over 100,000 graduates in the past 50 years who have become the elites of law enforcement and practitioners in China, CUPL has developed a niche for the enactment and enforcement of law in China. Furthermore, it became prominent in other public affairs in China, among which members of the faculty and student body played an active role in the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 demanding democracy and rule of law. 
To face the challenge of globalization, CUPL developed joint programs with international partners. 
In 2008, an exchange program was formed with Fordham University School of Law. 
CUPL also conducts an exchange program with the University of Exeter and University of Oxford in England, Deakin University in Australia, the University of California, Davis School of Law, the University of Montreal in Canada, and National University of Singapore Faculty of Law in Singapore. 
The most important subject in China University of Political Science and Law is law, following Political science, sociology, economics, management, literature, philosophy and so on.
It has 20,000 students, 1,000 teachers at school.
Now, it has the subject of the science of criminal investigation, law, political science and administration, international politics, administrative management, public administration, business administration, economics, international business, English, German, journalism, Chinese language and literature, philosophy, ideological and political education, sociology, applied psychology.
According to the 2012 the world university rankings of EQ, the law of China University of Political Science and Law ranked between 100 and 150. 
There are Chinese language programs for international students. These are 8,000 RMB per semester, or 16,000 RMB per year.
Students can also stay in accommodation on campus which is 1,000 RMB per year.
